An eye opener and interesting book about population and how census data is use by governments to manipulate budget, and other important national decisions. This book is a great asset for any college student studying Liberal Arts or any course related to government social issues.
Textbooks are usually compulsory so its not much use to review them. I did want to acknowledge this book because it was a decent read plus the author threw in a lot of cheeky bits which helped make it a bit of fun. It was also apolitical which I appreciated since it delved into a lot of politically charged topics. I feel like a lot of the chapters were padded out with repetition and over-explanation but that seems to be standard for textbooks.
This was one of the best texts I had this semester. Well researched and concise chapters explained everything for the layman.
The book was pretty good as far as giving someone an understanding of basic population studies.
as expected
