The characters are fantastic, and very well written. Devil in the Making explores the early years of Simon Singleton, Ludovic DeVere, and Ned Chambers and their exploits at Westminster School. Lord DeVere is already on the bad list due to the notoriety of his family, Simon and Ned are victims of upper classmen bullies. The three soon become inseparable friends.Ludovic attracts trouble without really trying.
