Their anti-Black legislation, dating back with the 1932 Davis-Bacon Act, continues today to suppress inter-community Black capitalism, federal construction related Black employment, work and job experience for Black teenagers, quality education access for urban black children, and the role of black men as leaders within the family unit. Liberalism or How to Turn Good Men into Whiners, Weenies and Wimps highlights the strategy, used in 1910, to inject the atheist ideology of socialism into a once enterprising, self-sufficient, competitive and proud Christian black community. A portion of that community, the conservative Black middle class, is positioned to pull our nation back from this abyss. Americans can ensure that the century-long sacrifice of lost hopes, dreams and lives made by the proud, courageous, patriotic, capitalist, Christianbased, self-sufficient, education-seeking Black community of the early 1900s was not in vain—but only if we choose to learn lessons from those past Black generations.

This is the first book that I can remember reading from cover to cover so quickly. I believe Burgess Owens fills in many gaps of black history that my public school education ignored. Having grown up in the inner city of Chicago, I have first hand knowledge of the vicious cycle that liberalism has misguidedly wrought on the African-American community. We need leaders that can help breathe hope into our communities, not fear and hate--thanks for the breath of hope Mr Burgess Owens through the writing of this book! This book is a must read for all people who care about the success of the African-American community. If you can keep an open mind and remain objective, you will discover an awakening that will provoke you to want to make a positive difference in the African-American community.
I caught Burgess Owens on Hannity the other night and was blown away by the information he shared as I had never heard most of it before. For instance, did you know it was the Democrats who formed the Ku Klux Klan? The Dems have taken great pains to hide this information from the public ever since. This is a highly intelligent man and apparently was a darned good football player, too. He genuinely cares about all people of America and persuasively shares information on how the Democrats and liberals are actually hurting black advancement by keeping them dependent on taxpayer-funded giveaway programs. Dependency is all about votes for Democrats using OUR money and Hillary is extending the welfare state we all fund to illegal aliens and now to Syrian refugees so that she can maximize votes for Democrats when she grants them amnesty as she's promised to do while on the campaign trail. Owens sees right through Hillary's agenda and this timely book will help readers get a better understanding of what's really going on behind the scenes.
This is a must read for all Americans. Mr Owens presents a compelling and riveting story of prejudice, perseverance, faith, hard work, independence, and the very things that allow Americans to excel and America to realize its exceptionalism. Not reading this book and its wonderful message is a missed opportunity. Thank you, Burgess Owens, for enlightening me and giving me hope that America can return to its great place in the world!
Phenomenal read!!! Given the current state of affairs concerning race relations, this book adds clarity to the question of "How did we get here?" by chronicling the direct correlation between the demise of the Black community and liberalism/democratic policies. Recommended to everyone on "both sides of the aisle"â¦.

Outstanding and honest book. I live in Chicago where I have been talking about what Liberalism has done to Black Brown and White people.This book tells you the truth about this disease, this plague, that has ruined mankind. It's not just Blacks, it's anyone who has adopted this disgusting ideology, who bow before government, lose their self-reliance, and become less than human. Committed liberals will not read it.The title is appropriate but should include the word "LOSER" for those who are incapable of living life without government approval. I am so happyMr. Owens wrote this book. He is a thorn in the side of every liberal loser in America who can't think for themselves.
Great book based on one man's own life experience. Owens' observations are informative and insightful.
The book is a black and white treatise on the ever-expanding failure of liberalism and how it has decimated the black community and America in general. Hope Burgess Owen receives some notoriety for his truthful and heartfelt examination of the deleterious effects of "do-gooders" and the crippling ideology marching the U.S. to ruination.
