Verity Long wants desperately to distance herself from the ghost whispering business and find steady-paying work. I still love and admire her determination to make an honest living on graphic designs. Verity refuses to exploit her new ability for monetary gain; instead, she uses her gift for the good of both the living and the dead. Yes, of course, her methods lean towards the unorthodox, however, in the end, Verity does achieve what she intends to in a roundabout manner. I love the care she shows to family and friend, living and dead. I really like Verity's backbone.
