I love Aquinas' writing. My only beef with this edition is that I don't get why it has to be presented the way it is. This volume, Volume I, contains exactly what is in Part I of the Summa Theologiae: no more, no less. So why is it published as "Basic Writings of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Volume I," and not "Summa Theologea, Part I"? Citing it was tricky.That aside, the writing itself is great. I would highly recommend reading it, as it deals with a lot of different issues, from Who God is, how we can know Him, what Man is, how we were created, how the soul is related to the body, and much more. I have only read a section of it, but that section was well worth reading and I am looking forward to reading more.
The book was a gift, but I know it was a success. It arrived in excellent condition and on time. It is nice to have a reliable service for a good, reasonable price. Thank you!
