A great review of the book, "It IS About Islam" b y Glenn Beck. Beck is an incredible writer, drawing on his charisma and passion for the subject to craft a well-researched book.This review captures his argument concisely and lets you draw your own conclusions about the subject. An excellent alternative to the more commonly known Spark notes. I personally use Instaread to stay current with mainstream books. This particular review was very well put together. The introductory summary gives a 10,000 foot view of the entire piece "It IS About Islam." I liked that I could quickly gather the main arguments of the work within a few short paragraphs. Instaread follows up the summary with a synopsis of characters, as well as a more involved analysis of the key points of Beck's book. Overall a good read and a very useful and easy to follow analysis of the book. Two thumbs up!

Not really a Glenn Beck fan but, after hearing a lot about this book I decided to buy the summary to get me a litte insight without having to purchase the book. It was great! I love these instaread summaries precisely for that. It has a detailed analysis of the main points of the book and it has convinced me into actually purchasing the real book. There is so much more than meets the eye to any religion, and Islam just like Christianity is so misunderstood and taken out of context. We all need to educate ourselves on the origins, philosophy and context of these religions.

This is vital information for those honest enough with themselves to recognize the risks and threats in their world. The research info is there and the details are so helpful in understanding something so easily radicalized. This faith has brought more woe, bloodlust, hopelessness, destruction, and soul-crushing to the world than anything else, and it's a good thing to know why.

With a great deal of media attention devoted to Islam and the Muslim religion, I wanted to learn a little more about it. This book does a great job of highlighting the much larger book by Glenn Beck. It breaks down each chapter and includes takeaway points and an an analysis to dissolve any further confusion. One of the points I appreciate reading is how the Islamic religion is effecting our freedom of speech, the media tiptoes around news reports as not to offend this extreme religion. The takeaway points included are ones everyone has probably heard at one point or another about the Islamic culture, this is important to read and absorb. I received this book in return for my unbiased opinion.

I could not of been more surprised at what a short "book" this it, basically a pamphlet. By the same token I guess I had assumed it was a book of average length. I will go back and look at it again but was disappointed there wasn't more. To give Mr. Beck his due I will look more closely at the book again, rather than skimming it. Perhaps he said a lot in just a few words.

This is the "Cliff Notes" version of the book. It is the skeleton without any meat on it. If you listen to Glenn on the radio you already know everything in this "pamphlet." My advise is to take the $3 it costs and spend it on the real book.
