I'm considering becoming a corrections officer, so naturally I need to study for the exam. Obviously every state is different but based on what I see from my state's website, this study guide is pretty on point so I assume it is probably helpful for most people. It includes a practice exam which also reminded me of the sample questions from my state's test. All in all a solid purchase
I ordered this for our oldest Son to take a look at. He has been contemplating on applying for a corrections officer academy but he is not sure or positive if he should or can. So as soon as I seent here was an actual book to help as a study guide I had to order it for him! Flipping through the book I see that the book is very easily laid out with larger font for an easier read and study. My son is a lot like me with having a hard time reading a book or manual and comprehending- we are way more of a visual learner instead of a book learner but it depend on how the book is laid out. Just looking the book over I think this book is very well laid out for people like us, easy to read and easy to understand. The book is jam packed with all the main basic information you should know for your test and career. This book may not get in real depth on every subject but it hits more of the main stuff anyway and skips the details and leaves that up to you to dig deeper past this book to get those details. This book is mainly just a compilation of all the Main things you need to know. Great start book for someone that is still not certain about it as a career. This will help make that decision I think for our Son and give him a better look into a Correction Officer's Career. The product arrived in excellent condition with no problems whatsoever and was created beautifully with all the correct and durable materials/parts.
