I needed some assistance with my patho. These cards were great. Many of the subjects covered on here were on my NClex exam.Great product. Gives the disease process along with signs and symptoms. Then provides what information such as labs, weight, vitals should be monitored.
Love these. One thing... If you are a medical or np student, these cards are way below the level that you will need to understand patho. They are fun and easy, and will help as a refresher before an exam. But be warned, you will need flash cards geared to med students, not nurses, if you want to actually learn something from them. These are great for nursing students studying for exams I'm sure. Undergraduate level.
Highly recommend when learning pathophysiology. The front of each card has the name of the diagnosis with a "Clue" box. On the back of each card explains pathophysiology, assessment & diagnostic findings, complications, treatment, "Keep in Mind" (client education), and "Make the Connection" (important info to remember about assessment and treatment). I used them while I was sitting on the couch, or relaxing. It made learning easy and stress-free. The cards helped me learn various diseases and conditions fast. Recommend Patho Phlash! with Pharm Phlash! cards.
I think the content is very helpful. Lots of good information.Only suggestion...my storage box the cards came in was smashed on one end. I was able to tape it up so it will hold the cards now. I would suggest shipping in a box instead of a padded envelope. Other then that they are great, and the seller had them to me in no time. Very fast delivery.
It's just ok, I expected more. The selection of diagnosis is not vast. The description is just ok. I just expected more and was hoping to augment my knowledge for nursing school, not just common knowledge...I really don't recommend.
Overall great study tool. Information is precise and easy to remember. I gave it four stars because it does not contain the child disorders and the blood disorders like Anemia, Hemophilias, and Lymphomas.
Bought this for clinicals but was not able to use it very much. The information provided is simple and concise but it can serve as a good refresher without going through a thick med-surg book. It will not be useful for comprehensive study but only for review. Has a few tricks for recalling concepts which may be handy for NCLEX.
Great study tool and easy to take to clinicals. A must have for nursing students. Great for on the go studying.
