Just enough!
the author is obviously a Phd - I could tell the way the book was written. That is not a good thing because most of the book he shows off his knowledge of accounting theory by making things so confusing you want to jump off a bridge. Perhaps this is how they get people to buy the expensive video package. I read a paragraph and I feel like I'm reading something in a foreign language. It is literally the worst way you could present the material to anyone new to accounting or with real world experience. This author is very intelligent but the way the material is presented is plain awful. I would not recommend any book created by this author. He reminds of college professors with Phd and CPA who have never actually worked for a business. People who just go on to teaching after business school. Maybe I'm wrong but this is coming from someone who graduated from a prestigious private college with MBA in 2006, and over 10 years of accounting experience and is currently a financial officer within a corporation.
