I already have my experience and licensure as a realtor and interior designer, however I wanted to add home inspector to my roaster and upgrade in my field. I cam across this study guide from a pal in the industry who told me it was an e-book, great to read and easy to absorb.Now, even though I have been involved in home inspection, amongst homes of all kinds for design and what have you, it was interesting that I came across this book. I am a visual person and who easily gets bored. I needed something quick and in a sense aesthetically pleasing to eye for my studying habits to kick in to gear.Thank god I have pals that used this study guide before, because it was so convenient. I bought, downloaded it and studied it. Simple as that, but the best part (seeing as though I am insanely analytical and need things properly distributed in order to work) this study guide was laid out beautifully.It broke down each section in pieces and came as extremely handy. As much as you think you may know, it is very smart to keep on studying and keep on grinding. I came across knowledge in this study guide that didn't click before. It also was a great asset for helping pass the exam. I also invested in the flashcard system, which was perfection too.Good luck future home inspectors or rather yet -let's not take each other's jobs haha. Just kidding!
So far, I've only had time to briefly overview the material, but I feel like it's more succinct than my assigned class text, which is almost a thousand pages long. After I finish the assigned text book reading, I will use this book as a study guide. The material seems more easy to understand and process, and I like the fact that there are sample test questions, which the other text doesn't have. I also appreciate the test taking tips, which my class text also does not include.
I LIKE THE EASY TO FOLLOW TO-THE-POINT STUDY FORMAT; IT'S AN EASY READ THAT LEAVES ALL THE FILL AND FLUFF OUT OF THE INFORMATION. WITH THE CONSISTENT MOVEMENT OF INFORMATION IT MAKES IT EASY TO FOCUS ON, I CAN READ IT FOR HOURS WITH NO PROBLEM. I FOUND THIS PREP BOOK VERY HELPFUL AND WELL WORTH THE MONEY.
