Read through this to study. Goes more in-depth than necessary on some concepts. Passed my test, but have been teaching this content for some years. Can't say that having this study guide really made a difference.
So far, I will give a rating of a 5. I love how the book explains the topics and provides examples. I haven't had the chance to completely finish the study guide as of yet, but I like it more than one I had previously purchased by another company. I also LOVE the fact that I can have an Ebook version. It makes it easier for my to study on the go and carry a light ipad/tablet to study vs a heavy book. If you want to get on with your teaching career, you’ll need to pass this test. That’s why this book is such a great buy! It covers everything you need to know in one book. You won’t need to lug around text books and binders because this is a nice streamlined version of what you need to be familiar with. This guide was written by experts who know the ins and outs of the test and they put a lot of research into it. The materials are current and well written.The layout makes reading it a pleasure. It’s not cluttered with too much on the pages. All of the topics and subtopics are logically broken down into manageable parts. It really does cover everything that will be on the test. And the practice test questions are terrific because it’s like having your own private test before the big day. You’ll quickly know where you stand in terms of knowing your stuff or not. The book also includes information on ways to get a better score. The general testing strategies and tips included are helpful. If you use this book to get yourself prepared, you’ll be in great shape for the actual test. Two thumbs up!
This is a good overview of test materials. The practice tests in the back were similar to the actual test. Don't rely completely on this resource but use it in conjunction with other study guides.
This book really helped me, I needed reviews of those areas we haven't studied since junior high/elementary. I loved this book it really made me feel confident for the exam. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
very expensive for the quality of the book. It does not have artwork, pictures or diagrams. Some themes are not in appropiate order.
