I really liked this product. I was recommended this book and could not be happier. I used becker but I was in need of different questions to supplement my studies. These questions were different and gave you a different style of thinking of the question.
Great questions and easy to understand. I used this book to complement the Becker BEC book. The questions were formatted in a similar manner. I highly recommend buying this as additional source material. I plan on purchasing the other 3 books as well.
Using this book as a supplement to the rest of your CPA prep is a good idea. I have used the CPA 500 questions books for FAR and AUD as well, and I think the BEC 500+ questions were more in line with the material I saw on the day of my actual exam. This book adequately covers questions for all the critical sections that the AICPA has listed are on the exam:-Operations Management-Planning and Budgeting-Financial Management-Information Technology-Economics-Management of Risk-Corporate GovernanceI like that the questions are organized in this way. Having taken the test, I can assure you that corporate governance and information technology are two big sections that are heavily tested, so you should try to get your hands on all the practice questions you can get to be good in those areas. This book should help you do that.As far as the structure of the questions go, this book does not mimic the actual test questions that well. A significant number of questions have 2 facts, and you have to decide whether one of them is correct/incorrect, or whether both or none are correct/incorrect. Even though I’ve taken 3 sections of the CPA exam already, I MIGHT have seen this format for one question so far across all 3 exams, if even that one question at all. So trust me when I say that this is not the question structure that will be tested on the exam. Still, if you’re trying out the questions in this book to test your knowledge, rather than your strategy, it shouldn’t matter. The 500+ questions will help you prepare and review the knowledge you should have gained in your business courses, as well as the other prep materials that you are using.
I used this BEC course. The questions are easier than real exam questions. So expect more difficult questions in the exam. However this is a very good course to review. It covers all the areas and their answers help to revise the theory very efficiently. I highly recommend this for your last week's revision.
Pretty good book. Some questions were repeated from other test prep programs I was using. Used this as a quick review a few days before the exam, and worked most of the questions in this book. Passed BEC on the first try using this book, Becker self study and Ninja questions. No amount of studying for these tests is too much!
Exactly what I expected. Great review of learned college material.
I haven't done many questions but I have already found an error. Only 1 error so far out of 20 questions, but please research your answers elsewhere if you feel you answer a question correctly but it doesn't match the answer key.
