Although written about the construction and racing of the sports racing cars promoted by the 750 Motor Club in the 1990's in Britain, this is a fine practical guide to self-building racing cars. Contains a vast amount of very sound advice from the late Dick Harvey who was a successful designer/constructor/racer of these fascinating 750Formula race cars. Amusingly this book is probably the only one written that thoroughly describes how to modify for racing the fascinating, all-alloy, 4-cylinder, 700/750/850cc engine that powered Britain's quirky three-wheeler Reliant.
Helpful Book. A nice blend of anecdotes and practical advice.
In the 50s and 60s we had the Coventry Climax 750cc race engine for cars. The present day equiv. is the Reliant 750/850. This book covers that engine completely and in depth.
