Good reference with some good info. There are some others with more detailed info, but for the money this is a good book to add to your library, especially if you collect Lee Enfields or just interested in the history and reference information for the different makes of them.

The books are of a great value to a rifleman, collector and researcher. The books contain valuable information which does not normally appear in British service manuals. A GREAT BUY!!!

I was disappointed with the book in so much I'd expected much more information. The content was the same old, very basic, outline of the rifles history and it reminded me of something that you might have once seen in a junior high school library such was the level of information.I would recommend this book to someone that had little or no idea of the history of Lee Enfield rifles as a teaser to further reading, such as Stratton's British Enfield Rifles, Vol 1.
