This dictionary is simple and clear.It is more simple and easy to use than the Webster or the Collins but it also has complete definitions that really helps you understanding what you are reading.It is not a confusing or "erudite" dictionary (as The Heritage or the Oxford).I am very pleased with this dictionary and I recommend it.
Bought it for my wife. She has a ESL class in collage. She likes it but says it kind of hard to use it for her right now. As for me I thing it overpriced but love it. I'll take a book over e-book any day.
I like that that definitions are very easy to understand.
We use Longman dictionaries at the school where I teach. The definitions are very good. They use a vocabulary that is not at all "dumbed down" but yet is simple enough to use with English learners.
