Future 1 2 and 3 offer outstanding practical English in an A+ attractive, modern, easy to use format that is geared for easy, useful, adult practical communication and conversation. In my 13 years of teaching beginning and low intermediate English in classes and tutoring, this is by far the best ESL series, especially for immigrants. Some homemade supplemental vocabulary lists and conversational dialogue can be useful, but not essential. Previous teaching experience is always helpful, but not essential. David's wife Kathryn
The text is in use in a Level 2 ESL course. The material is well written and diverse enough to keep the students interested. The topics are pertinent to day to day language use. On the down side, English grammar is practically nonexistent and has to be supplemented from other sources.
