I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this book. Book is good at reducing the information from Davis into a "need to know" for the NCLEX. Book is actually a small pocket sized book and the pages are arranged to be cut into flashcards. Book came punctually and in great condition!

This is the PERFECT pocket guide for drugs. I LOVE it! The only thing is that the book doesn't have an index and that you have to know the class of drug to be able to find it. Will definitely use this until it falls apart!

great study book for school/ prep. helped with assignments for classifications for homework. i would recommend it. good price for the book!

This is a helpful review for the NCLEX-RN drugs. If you are a nursing student, I suggest getting this (and many other NCLEX items) way before the big test. I have yet to take it, but am preparing before. Hopefully it works out for me and I pass the first time!

I bought this for my daughter to use when she starts nursing school but I have enjoyed reviewing it myself even though i've been a nurse for over 30 years! Good reference book.

Book Is amazing, so helpful, gives you just the information you need, would def get this if your practicing for nclex

My program had sub-par pharmacology courses, so I felt I needed a study tool for the boards that was simplified. I do not think this book helped me for the NCLEX, but I do think that it would have been helpful to have during nursing school.

Not a bad book!It has a simple breakdown that lists each medication's:category, subcategory, generic name, brand name, phonetic pronunciation of the generic name, side effects, usage, and Important nursing considerations. The book is organized by drug categories (Allergy and Asthma, Analgesics, Anticoagulants, Anticonvulsants,... Respiratory Medications, Treatment/Replacement, and Women's Health). My only problem with the book is that but it doesn't have an index for looking up specific meds quickly.I have been using this site to word search within the text for the med I need to look up and then I use my book.http :// freeebooksdwload . BlogSpot . com/Just search for "NCLEX" and it will pop up. You don't have to download it to be able to read the book or key word search in the text. I wouldn't recommend downloading it because it asks you to do surveys (NO THANK YOU!) and I don't trust those kinds of downloads.
