This book is chock full of mistakes and historical inaccuracies regarding weapons and uniforms. I'll use three examples to illustrate my point. Page 126 a German 242nd lieutenant is described as wearing a black peaked cap which he clearly is not. Page 116 an SS soldier is described as wearing a camouflaged smock when he is clearly wearing the late war two piece pea dot camo uniform. Page 95 U.S. paratrooper described as wearing a one piece camouflage jungle suit when he is in fact wearing the standard two piece airborne uniform. This book may be of use for a child or a novice in military history. Not for the serious collector.

I have all the other volumes of this series . The book is well done for the information in it . I wish they could have done a little bit more on some of the lesser know armies in World War II

Excellent picture "library" for wargamers and and parties interested in WW2 uniforms.Downside is text description of uniforms is no help.
