This book is great. It gives me all the keys that I need to unlock a happy husband. Before this book, my husband was walking around with the male equivalent of RBF (resting bitch face) ALL THE TIME. Now that I'm properly parenting our children, slaving in the oven, and generally making sure to serve my husband's every whim (while making it all look effortless of course!) he hasn't been happier.
I bought this book and gave it to my then girlfriend. Once I allowed her to read it, she took the information to heart. Needless to say, we are now married and have a wonderful life together. She still sticks to all 19 of these rules and keeps a good, happy house and husband. She now wants me to allow her to read more books like this but I would rather her finish making me a sandwich before she tries reading again. Overall I think this is a great product and i feel like all women should be permitted to read this.
This book is actually pretty great. We used it for a friend's bachelorette party as a game. We all rated her on her ability to be a "good wife" as we went along in the book. Hilarious! Great gift for any new bride.
I gave this as a gag gift at a bridal shower, which may be the perfect use for this book. At the shower, my co-host and I read from the book and all the guests thought it was hilarious. I don't think you can go wrong with this book (unless you are looking for serious marriage advice).
I got this for my wife. She said it was "funny". I laughed and asked her to keep it by her bedside as I have found this book very profound and helpful. It will inspire the love in your life to adhere to a more nostalgic time when men were made to be felt as the KING of the castle. I would NOT recommend getting the little lady this as a Christmas present (she was pissed). Now that I think about it don't make it a gift at all. Rather sneak it into her daily reads and hopefully it will inspire her in ways in never inspired my ex-wife(now). Five stars because now I'm single.
This is a hilarious gag gift for a bride... Some of the advice is not only soooooo outdated but June Cleaver herself would have gasped! This book is a staple in my bachelorette gifts.
I guess I didn't understand what "little seedling edition" meant. Was surprised and disappointed when I saw how tiny it was!
I thought this would be a real book. There were a handful of pages made of cardboard like a children's book. Read it in about 5 minutes or less. Definitely a gag gift.
