This workbook would have been okay for a high 3rd or low 4th grade level. I bought it for my 5th graders and it was too easy so I returned it.
this book is very easy to use. I love the perforated pages that you can take out of me copy for the kids has the answers in the back small subject matter in the box preceding the exercise I would recommend.
I am so happy I found this book. After a couple of lessons there is an assessment that goes with the skills taught. Each page also had a brief explanation of the concepts. It isn't a stand alone grammar book, but definitely works well with a little review/instruction.
Very nice touchstone for intro to grammar for this age. Also nice to know what the public schools are doing. I home school and this book is very easy to use. I wouldn't say it is a complete "grammar" book. I would say it is a nice place to start for this grade level.
Very helpful for a 5th grader having a little trouble with grammar. She has been able to use this on her own.

Very simple, direct book to review grammar concepts with kids. I use it for homeschooling purposes and like it a lot.
This fits well into my sons homeschool program. He sits right down and works on it. He reads the directions and only needs a small amount of guidance with it.
