This book is extremely helpful to study from. You get to practice all types of Regents problems. Regent Chemistry questions are usually repetitive. It won't be the same exact question but it will be very similar. The Regents curve is horrible so if you're planning to do well, you better know how to do all the problems. For example, I got a 96 and only got 2 questions wrong. So just know your stuff and know how to do every problem in this book and you're set.
It's a good book but here it says they have till June 2012 but the one I received was until 2010 and I'm kind of annoyed from this being that I'm taking the 2013 regent
If you're taking the Chem regents and know the material pretty well, this is the one for you.However, if you're not so great at Chem, you'd best be looking for the blue book, Let's Review: Chemistry, the Physical Setting (Let's Review Series) or the combination one, Chemistry Power Pack: The Physical Setting (Regents Power Packs).Barron's makes great review books for the regents--they've got a lot of actual tests along with great explanations.
I can get all these regents on nysedregents.org but not the detailed answers as in this book, which is why I buy it every year for my regents courses. PURCHASE RED OVER BLUE!!! The blue one is kind of useless since it's so bland, some answer keys are wrong, and the best way to prepare near the test is to practice old tests.PROS:-Detailed explanations-Handy, small book. Good for practicing on-the-go-I've been using Barrons for most if not all my Regents prep books. They're reliable.CONS:-Missing all January Regents-Barely any tests... I have to get many more from nysedregents.org in order to thoroughly prepare. I guess this is a good start as a foundation to regents prep.-Answer booklet is all the way at the end of the test. It forces me to rip it out to use it best (there are no perforations.) I really don't like the idea of having to flip through 20 pages between the test and the answer booklet. It would be great if the answer booklet had perforations.
it will help me to learn chemistry. that is a very nice book for me I am very like the book.
THE PICTURE SHOWN WAS OF THE 70TH EDITION, BUT WE RECEIVED THE 50TH EDITION FROM 1999!!! THE MOST RECENT REGENTS EXAM WAS FROM 1998. HOW CAN WE POSSIBLY STUDY FOR A 2013 REGENTS FROM A BOOK THAT'S ANCIENT??????????????????????????????????????? BY THE TIME WE WOULD SEND IT BACK AND ORDER A NEW ONE, IT WILL BE TEST TIME. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT IT DID NOT CONTAIN THE MOST RECENT REGENTS EXAMS ADVERTISED.
the book is good for review but the tests are old. for example if you look at the contents the latest test is 2011. I am took the spring 2016 regents.
Didn't say what year the book was and it was from 10years ago completely outdated a d the picture on the front is the new one I couldn't use this book
