This activity book is very useful and a great resource that accompanies the text of the same title. Mo teacher of grades K-8 should be without it. There are some excellent reproducible sections that can be used with kids, and to share with parents.
I have purchased this activity book to supplement the textbook. It is a great way to have a study guide and you can refer back to it as often as you need to.
Book contains 100 reading and language lessons for tactile learners. A good resource for any reading/language class.
good activities can be used with students or to prepare for Foundations of Reading MTEL
Almost had to pay for the book as the directions for return were very hazy and complicated. Had to print out a return form with a bar code. It was a rental and my daughter just sent it back to the address on the box. Very wrong!! Got notice it was due 2 months after she returned it. The directions as it turned out were in the fine print of the rental agreement which was on-line. You know, the agreement no-one ever reads. Long time talking to customer service to avoid full price charge. The supplier and rental people evidently do not talk to one another.
This book is the best professional development I've ever received from a book. Every teacher should be required to read this! This should be a textbook in every elementary education program!
This "activity book" consists of questions to go with a text book. It is meant for education students taking a class in reading methods. It was not at all useful for me.
This activity book has great content that's accurate, systematic and quite comprehensive, but the activities are dry and boring and not very multisensory.
