I am finding this book very helpful from a layman's point of view. I'm not a trained special Ed teacher and need much more training to work with the autistic population. What is happening in my district is students on the spectrum are being assigned to regular ed classrooms but teachers have little knowledge about the situation. This book is at least an introduction.

I've been using Barbara Boroson's book in my Foundations of Autism class at University. The 2nd edition is wonderful. Updated information, teacher tips that can be used immediately in the classroom, and I love the new There's an App for That feature. Thank you Barbara for another helpful book for my preservice teachers!!

Great book with very good ideas. Plan to share it with gen Ed teachers I work with
