Home-School Relations is an excellent user friendly textbook, both student friendly and instructor friendly. The text is easy to read and includes extensive current information regarding the various issues surrounding home-school partnerships. Each chapter includes several reflection exercises that are applicable for large groups, small groups, and/or individuals. At the end of each chapter, multiple resources can be found for the instructor and/or students. These include "Recommended Activities" (to extend learning), books, articles, videos, organizations, and websites. I highly recommend this textbook for undergraduate and graduate courses.
The only reason why I gave it a like is for the fact that it is a text book, it arrived in perfect condition and was posted online with great accuracy and it looked like I got it form the book store my self. I do like the fact that I can get my school books off line and have them in such great order, but like anyone who hates to read I only like it not love it. I do recommend that anyone taking an early childhood class and needs this book should get it here.
Although I am not finished with the book, I find the book so far informative and helpful with the class that I am taking. It is an easy-read, understandable and has information that you might already know mixed in with information and research not well-known.
This book will be used as a supplemental source for a Research Class, as well as, a text for continued resouceful materials library. Up to date issues are thoroughly discussed.
The book arrived in a reasonable amount of time but I've received other books much quicker. The book was a little more worn than I expected but worked for what I needed.
I would highly recommend this product. It sure beats what I would have paid for it used at the University bookstore!
my professor required us to get this book. we never use this book. Actually i used it once for the refference.
I got the correct book. It did take about 2 weeks, but other than that everything was great.
