Since I am a beginner in the field of Speech-Language Pathology, this book has helped break down the important information in a way in which I am able to comprehend all the material. I find it to be an easy-reader with plenty of tables to explain things better. Don't forget to read the appendices because that section is also very helpful as well, especially if learning how to transcribe and interpret a language sample.
