I gave this as a Christmas gift and he was so interested in it that he had trouble putting it down to open his other gifts. He did finish reading it on Christmas day and has read it once more since. It's loaned out right now. Filled with both funny as well as interesting stories!
Got this book for my Dad for Xmas, as he is a very long-time golfer. He found it amusing and interesting, and more insight to some of his favorite pro players. If you are a golfer, you should enjoy this book!
i enjoyed reading quips by legendary golfers and the situations they would find themselves in. a good deal! a required minimum number of words on a review is dumb! sorry but one of the things i don't like about your service.
I enjoyed the book and there was the occasional chuckle but given that the "anecdotes" were seldom more than a few sentences, this is isn't the kind of book you're likely to remember with much clarity. Read it if you need a break from something heavy but don't expect to learn much new about the pros in it.
This book was a plot of fun to read. It's neat to see some good the personalities of the better known players. A quick read.
A look at the players and their reactions to some plays. Gives a more rounded view of their personalities. Very funny.
My dad is an avid golfer. I bought this book as a gift and much later, he told me he loved it. My dad is honest enough to tell me he liked one book far more than another. I've read some of it and literally laughed out loud.
This was a really entertaining enjoyable book. The stories by and about the different golfers was fun to read. Thanks for writing it.
