It's a heartwarming book filled with beautiful prose and fantastic photography. Admittedly, it's hard to go wrong with anything involving pictures of dogs, but this book goes above and beyond.
I love this book -- a totally charming gift for anyone who loves dogs! This isn't a generic assemblage of quotes about dogs -- it's a surprisingly profound, and clearly very carefully curated collection of sayings like "Joy is meant to be shared!" and "Just enjoy the ride!" and "Bask in a sliver of sunshine" that reveal what our canine companions can teach us about gratitude, joy, friendship, living a balanced life and other valuable life lessons. There are also touching stories about dogs and their humans, and truly adorable photos throughout. This book is heartwarming, and at times laugh-out-loud funny. I highly recommend to dog lovers everywhere!
I'm on a tight budget and thought I've read/seen all the dog books out there; same ol, same ol. Not this one! I am buying a copy for everyone I know for Christmas! I cried, I laughed and I learned something. Truly a beautiful book!
I tried a sample of this book first, then I bought it and discovered the astounding photography paired with a majority of the sayings! I don't know what I liked more, the photography or the verse.

It's the middle of the night after Christmas Day. I couldn't sleep and came across this book. The images, the breadth of topics and emotions covered, contribute to the reminders about what matters. Santa must have known the balm that a thoughtful leafing through this book would provide. It's not a cute silly little book at all. It's food for the soul.
This book was a gift and I loved it so much I had to buy one to pass one so another family member can be blessed. I may have to buy a few more copies. Some photos are funny, some bring back memories and some stories are super-touching. What a creative book. Great job !!!!!
