When I returned to school after 25 years I didn't think I would need a dictionary because I have a computer, was I wrong. I purchased this set and it has been a godsend. The thesaurus is great, but the plus was "The Writer's Companion" which helps with your style, grammar, and APA papers that you will have to do.
I picked this set up here on for really cheap. It is what it is, not the best, not the worst. It is very small and doesn't take up much space, which is a bonus. If you're looking for a word that is not found, chances are you already own a larger more complete dictionary anyway. I can let my kids use this set and if they mess it up, who cares. It is far from complete, and the paper and print are not the best, but considering the price it's not so bad.
