I have taught adult ESL for 10 years and I love this series above various others I've used. It is remarkably affordable, both books come with listening cd's. Also, there is free practice online for all 5 (?) levels and for citizenship.
This is a really good follow up book to the Longman. What I like are the grammar exercises and the expansion of the vocabulary. I just wish the type was a little bigger. My student is at Level 1.
This pack of two books and CDs is very helpful for our citizens wanting to learn English. It's a great starting place!
