Anyone interested in law school or just want to have knowledge of the different law schools, this is a must. I like how this book does not rate the schools in order, it goes by alphabetical order. It's a useful tool and explains in the beginning how to read the stats. Packs a lot of information for each school, this book has been my guide!
Helpful, but only provided a very limited amount of information per school, such as hours per day studying, limited student feedback quotes, and some arbitrary professor rankings. For example, it gave me no real indication of what schools were best for criminal law or clinical experience.
This is the best directory of law schools I know of, but for many schools the admissions data could be more detailed and more accurate. This is easily solved by referring to the required ABA disclosures. Also, application dates change and I found a number in the book which were wrong. Be sure to consult the individual web sites. In general, the narrative information was very useful.
This book is extremely comprehensive and great all around for anyone in the start-up phase of looking at law schools. You can check out GPA and LSAT requirements for each school, plus the Princeton Review team takes it a step further and goes on to explain (according to attending students) what to expect as far as the schools overall "culture".
