I like this book overall, it has a diagnostic test to see how much you know, and 3 practice tests to see how much progress you are making. It has sample questions, how to tackle each section of the PSAT, and all that good stuff. You should definitely get this book if you are preparing for the PSAT. It also has 100 essential math concepts, root list, vocabs, and so on. Also, it has an online practice test that gives you an advance look at the SAT. Great book!!

This study book has everything you need to raise your child's PSAT scoreand will be the perfect support in a structured preparation approach.As a parent, I spent about as much time reading the material (primarily the mathssections) and preparing study/test activities as my son and daughter spent doing thembut it is not unreasonable to expect a 20-25% improvement as a result.Since the PSAT is the best preparation to and predictor of SAT test results,I would encourage getting this book and making the most of it.

Daughters are using this to prepare for the PSAT in October. Great information for strategies in every area covered in the PSAT and three practice tests included. Has a chapter on "How to attack the writing section" and resources for vocabulary and math concepts. Each time my daughters take the practice test their scores have increased; however it does take time and hopefully they will succeed in the final PSAT in a few weeks.

Very straightforward, and helpful. The key is that you must be willing to put in the time to take the tests and review the answers. If you do this it will be time well spent. If not, there is no point in buying the book because it can't take the test, only the student can.

I bought this test prep book for my daughter who is planning to take the PSAT next year. What a pleasant surprise! It's a used book but this book is hardly written over. My daughter flipped through the book quickly and she said she only saw one tiny mark on it. An excellent buy for anyone who wants to get a sense of what the PSAT is about.

It helps my son for preaparing for enterance test for McNair High School, Jersey City, NJ. He worked hard to review all materials in the book. Tips are helpful. Took practice tests given in the book that helped him for real exam.

Kaplan PSAT/NMSQT 2012 PremierMy 8th grade home-schooled daughter loves the book. It explains the procedures, gives tips on how to take the test, easy to read, and easy to understand.
