I was interested in finding a book to help a friend's daughter with the PSAT Exam so I ordered this study guide. I found this book to be comprehensive, organized, and extremely helpful. It provided all the information she had questions on, tips, reviews, and 300 example questions that covers each section of the exam. In addition to all of that, it contained two (2) full practice exams to help provide a better idea of what to expect on the exam. I have personally taken a lot of exams over the years and unless you see a sample to prepare, you are never fully prepared of what to expect. I am very excited to see how well this study guide helps my friends daughter. She was extremely nervous about the exam but seems to have gained a lot of confidence since working with this study guide. The book has been very good for that. The book is well laid out with a progressive approach to the topics. It does not have a lot of practice tests or problems but as a compliment to your other suite of prep books this will do very well. In fact my child has indicated that the book is easier to follow than a very popular website for SAT prep. That said you need to be very careful of the pricing of the book since there are multiple prices listed all the way from $6.00 to $29.00 for the same book!
This PSAT prep book is absolutely ATROCIOUS. Do NOT purchase this for your children taking the PSAT next month, it will NOT benefit them. Not only does this book include wildly incorrect facts (ex. George Washington served 3 terms), but many of their answer choices are incorrect. You will be FAR better off purchasing a Kaplan SAT prep book, Collegeboard SAT prep book, or really ANY other SAT/PSat prep book on the market by a well established company. Our PSAT prep teacher has emailed the company before about this misleading and incorrect book, and they have not responded. I DO NOT recommend purchasing any other books by this new, unknown company. Go with one of the big names like Cliffs Notes, Kaplan, Princeton Review, and Collegeboard's own prep books.

This book is good when you want a quick read with a variety of information. It gives good examples with step by step for the math portion, which is a plus. There are tons of sample questions with answers also with helps tons. Good study guide. Remember though, if you want to do good on any test, use all resources that you have, not just the easiest or cheapest.

Very detailed book. Will help any student prepare for PSAT tests. Book is a great size and came very quick and was shipped in excellent packaging!
