As usual, Barron's has done an excellent job with this PSAT/NMSQT study guide. Besides offering sound test-readiness suggestions, this PSAT guide explores essential information found within each section of the exam; includes practice materials for mastering these skills; explains the details of the actual PSAT Exam; and then provides ample opportunity to practice for the exam with full-length practice exams, which include detailed explanations for each response. I recommend this book to all students who are preparing to take the PSAT/NMSQT Exam.

The Writing Skills Review has got exercises to help students avoid grammatical errors and improve their paragraph writing style. The Critical Reading Review offers practice exercises for the Sentence Completion Question, tips on improving reading comprehension, and vocabulary-building exercises. The Math Review covers arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and related math topics including probability, data interpretation. Finally, four full length practice tests reflect the PSAT format with answer keys and explanations. This will give you an idea about what type of question you get in your exams. It is a poorly edited book. It has too many mistakes. Don't waste your time and money on this one.
