The book is good, but not for the purpose of writing. This book teaches about basic grammar that's by no means for the students of this level. Instead, it teaches more complex writing with extreme basic grammar. I had to suggest another book and change my class.
Bought this for my wife and she likes all of the Great Writing books a lot.
I would like to know how this newest edition compares to the older one. We have a very limited budget at the school where I work and are considering buying one of the editions. Is there any way to look inside of this book?
