As a non-U.S. citizen, acquired this little booklet after growing tired of the endless political debates carried on in the media, in arguing about the polarizing political parties, as to what Administration- or Congressional proposal is constitutional and what not. To that end, this little booklet is indeed perfect. It offers me bit of reference in formulating a personal opinion. Recommended!
Much smaller than I expected! Required reading for my Criminal Justice class. A lot of information packed into a tiny convenient shell. And you really can't go wrong with the price.I wish all of my books could be this light and cost friendly!
A fine, inexpensive text of the founding documents of the United States. It also includes various little known facts, such as the history of the 27th Amendment, which delays laws affecting Congressional salary from taking effect until after the next election of representatives. This was proposed in 1789 as part of what is now known of the Bill of Rights, but not passed until 1995. Two hundred years! Yipes.Worth buying several copies of this book and giving them out to friends.
A very nice inexpensive book. Small and nice to carry around or take with you to appointments to read while you are waiting. Every American will be enlightened what and why America is a great nation.
As we become more aware of our civil rights, it is most useful to have a pocket sized version of the Constitution on hand. This version includes several additional features concerning the evolution of Constitutional law, cases, and historic events. It is a great price for a priceless document.
This is the version to get. Straight Constitution and Declaration without any inserted commentary. Interesting facts pages are in their own sections, and seem pretty much unbiased. This is a good one to offer to those who need to learn what we swear (or affirm) to defend and protect against all enemies.
This book is a great little pocket book for the reference of the US Constitution. I look at it sometimes, and refer to it whenever it is necessary to use. This would definitely be a great book for anybody and especially people working for the US Government.
It was much smaller than I could have imagined and the print is very small. There are interesting facts included in this book, as well as the Constitution itself. I would have preferred a larger size book, but what I wanted was the information and I got that!
