Wow, this book is really establishing new standards for the treatment of Candida and Yeast. It reveals a complete host of illnesses associated with this condition and the recommended solutions. I highly recommend this book!!!!
Very helpful resource for chronic ailments with candida as a complicating factor. My favorite part was the clinical vignettes at the end that showed how the author would treat particular patients, everything from acne to infertility. The recipes portion is useless because you really don't need to restrict your diet that much if you are on an appropriate antimicrobial ... but still helpful to learn about just the same so you can make educated food choices.
If anyone needs the basics on how and what yeast does to the human body and what you can do to remedy your issues, this is the book for you. It lays everything out in layman's terms. I am grateful for this book.
With other books on natural health, I felt that they were dates, being written 30 years ago, or more. I enjoyed those books and did gain some valuable information, but candida is an affliction that has matured and spread. This book was very helpful for me to answer some of the specific questions that I had in dealing with the candida and I appreciated the doctor's perspective and knowledge.
Decent book with a good amount of recipes. It came a bit tattered; not sure what the description was (old library book, used) but I expected it in a bit better condition.
