Studied for the AP Micro exam solely through this book, never haven taken the course. Only took me several days to get through the microeconomics section of the book. Aced the exam. However, the book does not provide the best explanations. Many important terms are left out or not explained at all. Graphical analysis is also below par. If you have any basic calculus background (especially with partial derivatives), I would recommend referencing the Internet for detailed analysis of important graphs and derivations of several formulas so you don't have to remember them.If you have taken a course in microeconomics, this book is the one for you (Princeton Review will also suffice, but this one has much more content). If you are looking to self-study, I recommend this one over Princeton Review as long as you are willing to use the Internet to dive further into important topics left out.

Good information, but hidden by so many typos that were often detrimental to the meaning, such as mislabeling a graph as elastic when it's inelastic or switching price floor and price ceilings. The mistakes are often easily identified because the rest of the paragraph will say the correct term, but it is EXTREMELY frustrating.

I would recommend this study book to anyone who is wanting to pass the AP exam. The book was in good condition and was basically like new. Definitely not a book that you should expect to cram the night before in order to do well. Start reading at least a month prior to the exam!

Good book, however i did not know that it was edition 3. The most current one is edition 4 however a fellow classmate compared theirs with mine and it was exactly word for word the same except for a few topics. Got me a 4 on the ap test. Yay!

This book is simply the best because:1. The explanations are good, concise and to the point.2. The practice tests are harder than the real thing, so if you can get 80% correct on the practice test you'll easily get a 5 on the Real AP test.Just FYI I have gotten fives on all five AP's I've taken and I've used Barrons to prepare for all of them.I have look over some of my friends books that aren't made by barrons and they simply aren't as rigorous, if you want a 5 get a Barron's book, if you want a 3 princton review or 5 steps to a 5.

This book is a decent review if you have taken a class, or self studied using a text book. Beware, there are several wrong answers in the quiz and test section, so you really do need to double check the logic on all answers.

this book covers everything for both tests. so whether you are taking one or both you will have the information to succeed. There are multiple tests and questions throughout to find your weaknesses. With every question there is also an explanation which will help you beat those hard to avoid distractor questions on the test. If the work to review is put in this will get you to a 5. it is not a magic trick it just puts all the knowledge in one place for the reader to gather

Do not purchase this book. Many errors that can be confusing. Inaccurate graphs, incorrect formulas. Buyer beware.
