This book has been updated and improved in January 2015 to make it even more indicative of the PMP Exam® experience, based on reader and student feedback. It is a low-cost alternative 200 question practice PMP Exam® for those studying for the latest (Summer 2013) version of that exam, as it has changed to accommodate the 5th edition of the PMBOK® Guide. The author's opinions regarding what makes a good exam question, and of the trends in the PMBOK® Guide as it has matured through five editions, are captured in the questions inside. The exam is tightly aligned with the PMP Exam®’s specification in its construction. The answer section shows a process group, knowledge area and specific PMBOK® Guide reference point to make the process of learning and re-learning easier. The book is capped off with a one page summary view of the answers and their associated process group and knowledge area references. Of all the books I bought, this one was the farthest from the actual test--the questions were not even structured the same. I took it before I took the exam, and got a 63%, the worst I'd done out of all the practice tests I'd taken. I took the exam two days later and passed with "proficient" scores across the board. The only thing this book is good for is a total freak out.
The book is good, not excellent, but it has enough information that when studied correctly, allows the candidate to pass. I put in about 40 hours of study time into it, and passed.
I found the species of questions are reliable for my project management course and it is diversify to spur learner interest on the subject.
Seriously to say the type of grammatical question & answers are not quite understanding. Need to improve for the languages.
Good sample problems for the PMP exam especially if you are pressed for study time. I'd recommend this book to anyone
I found this book very helpful in preparing for the exam by pointing out areas I was weak in. Good prep book.
Using this book can be very inefficient, because it can only help you recite the stuff in the PMBOK.
I used this book to pass the PMP in July. It was a very good practice tool to prepare for the test.
