It's cliffsnotes, what do you expect? Does not replace reading the book but being able to get this digitally on demand is awesome when your kid comes asking you questions about the book at 10 PM for their book report due in the morning... Like most of us Gen Xers, it's been 25 years since we read these books, so helping the Gen Ys is easier with stuff like this.
Don't get cliff notes for this book. Its an easy read and an American classic. Read the damn book.
My son who has achieved his master's degree in English and is halfway through his English PHD program, tells me that after carefully reviewing this, he recommends it to his students. The book arrived on time, was well packed and brand new. The item is fairly priced. A+!!!!
CliffsNotes was very informative about all the characters in the book. It setout each characters thoughts and association with each other so the reader had a understanding of what was happening .It had a concise summary of Salinger's background and his life experiences.
Very helpful to help give a wideer interpretation of the book.
