I rent this book in e-book, but I can not find the access code of Mindtap anywhere. The book description does not tel about any information about they do not have a access code and the access code is the most expensive part in this book.

No access code for MindTap if you rent this book, even though it says you get an access code in the description. My professor uses the MindTap quizzes. You can either rent the book and buy the MindTap access separately (saved me about $5 as opposed to buying a new book. - woohoo!) or just buy a new book which will have the code.

No way! This book is so widely used for political science classes that it is atrocious that you can't enable text-to-speech. I'm still learning how to do this as I'm streamlining my study skills and now I will spend many more hours than necessary reading this text when I could be getting so much more done by listening. I am deeply disappointed in and Cengage for not making an audiobook of it or AT LEAST letting Siri read it aloud. Despicable, and a total rip-off. I know they hustle students and are scammers in the textbook industry, but the fact really should be made easily known that it cannot be read aloud. What are dyslexic or sight-impaired students supposed to do? It almost seems like discrimination, as there are so many books out there that have text-to-speech, yet hardly any textbooks. I already have a paper copy of this book but my hopes of listening to it somehow have been dashed and I rented this eBook for no reason now, wasting forty dollars today.

This book doesn't come with mindtap like it says in the title. The mindtap is the most expensive part, so you might as well just buy a new book.
