Yikes. Wish my school had chosen a different book--there are good lessons to be had here, but one should assume that any student qualified to take this entry-level college course has a basic grasp of spelling and grammar. Not unfairly priced, but you're getting what you pay for here.
It was not necessary for my class to turn in the actual pages of the book, so it was perfect for the low price I paid. My book was in great condition, had all the pages there, but just a few exercises were completed by the owner before me. No big deal.
I bought this for my husband, but he is disappointed because there is no answer key. As someone mentioned already, how would a person know if your answers are correct or not. Not a good book.
