This textbook provides an overall glimpse of the problems faced by those living throughout the world today. This is really not the greatest book to use, the author writes as if he were writing a term paper or thesis as opposed to a textbook. Unfortunately, many of the issues and problems he simply describes and then moves on instead of providing the reader with some answers or even thoughts and ideas on the topics.
Best book I have read in a long time to learn of what is going around the world and makes you want to be a better person. Great book to have.
I didn't like this book. I only bought for a class I took so that could have caused a predetermined dislike, but still, the way that it was written didn't engage or interest me in the subject. If you have a current or preexisting interest in the subject, and want history or purely factual information, then this book will probably work for you. If you are looking to learn about Global Problems, in way that is engaging to read, you may want to continue your search.

Got the book fast and at a good deal. The book itself is much more condensed than I had expected - small font. Its an easy read though, good writing style, relevant information. Im glad I ordered it.
this was a required book for school. I would never read it only on my own and I would not recommend it if you are looking for a fun book to read.
