A good introductory resource for those looking at the CJ career field. The only complaint I have is that it is kind of generic and definitely not as in depth as some other resources I have used. Also, you can find the same information online very quickly. That being said, it is an easy to digest shotgun blast of information on the CJ career field and as most people will probably have to purchase as a textbook, it is actually a decent investment if you are looking at CJ as a career choice.
I loved this book. It was realistic and gave great tips for every stage of preparing for my career. I'd keep it as a reference if I didn't need the refund to pay for next semester's textbooks : /
Good tips on getting into the law enforcement field and other related fields. Although most of this information is readily available online, its nice to have it all in one place.
Great introductory book. A lot of good information ranging from careers, to internships, to interviews and how to make yourself most presentable to law enforcements agencies.
My book arrived in amazing condition! I find the book to be very interesting. It's very informative and pretty much covers a lot of things I wouldn't have thought of
I used this as an alternative to purchasing the textbook. While the price was great, there is key information left out of the book due to copy right issues. This posed an issue when the copy righted material which was not present was needed for a test.
They were really nice and allowed me to return the book when I needed to and didn't give me a hassle.
It came right on time and I think it is going to be a good book to read.
