Brown and Ainley have written a good, introductory textbook on international relations. Commencing with an introduction to the major theories of IR and core concepts, the book then goes onto explore issues of globalization, political economy and global governance before turning to issues such as US hegemony and the politics of identity. Overall, a well written and concise introduction to IR.
Bought this book for a friend of mine .... but according to her, this one was a good one and she has now actually passed it on to someone else in the same field too !!
It is a very illustrative book to update me with the conformation a the new international scheme for my studies
I learned a lot from this book but it was not super interesting. It worked well for my class but if you are just looking for a different reading, I would suggest something else. Fast delivery!
