If you're interested in NYC history and images, this is awesome! I have framed several of the pages. The book is made of heavy cardboard like pages, which work well for framing. All pages are perforated and ready to be torn out.The images show some pretty neat and interesting things about NYC. enjoy
I choose this rating because it was everything I hoped it would be.I bought this collection as a gift for a map lover. The maps can be taken out easily and framed if you wish.There is even a small write up on each map in the back of the book.. Very interesting.The only thing Iwould have liked better is if one of the old maps had all the street names on it.
I have used a bunch of these to frame for my house, and the cardstock is thick and nice. i've shared them with family and friends as gifts too!
I would have liked some closeup/enlarged areas so I could read it better. I shared it with a friend who grew up in Brooklyn - he loved it!
It is a great book of maps. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. The maps are beautiful and can be framed.
