I really loved this book. This book gives you a realistic view of what a woman encounters and feel in a relationship. This book was very relatable, and what I like most is, unlike me, the writer is true with her feelings.
The moment I started reading the book I couldn't stop...I love how not only a women/men who has been broken hearted by an ex partner can relate but plainly any women/men who has been broken hearted period be it by a family member, friend or even a parent. Every road to recovery is different but knowing that someone went through something similar and was able to overcome that obstacle definitely does give any one currently going through the same or a similar situation hope, that they will also be able to move past the storm.I cant wait for the next book to come out :)
I was so excited when I got my book today, I've been following @thecromsonkiss on insta for a while now and her posts always resonate deeply with me and I couldn't wait to read her book! Letters to my ex really makes you feel what she went through and what many women go through, it makes you remember your not alone, it makes you feel like you can break free, and time eventually heals everything. I always heard of the idea to write letters and not send them as a release of your feelings, but she took it to a whole new level, I loved the book and I can't wait for the second one!!
I felt that I related quite a lot to the author. As I read it I felt her emotions as if I was there experiencing events with her. This is a great book for a broken/healing heart. I found myself tearing up in some passages and chuckling in others. The author has great potential.However,There should have been some revisions in the book prior to publishing. There were quite a few words randomly omitted which were very distracting. Obviously context clues and common sense helped me fill in the sentences but that shouldn't have needed to happen.
I read the first couple pages and was hooked automatically. Then, I actually got the book and started reading the book and I thought it would be more inspiring, more helping others how she got out her situation. I may have to read more into it, but I lost interest in it.
I loved this book! It's so relatable. Heartbreaking but also so funny. She draws you in with her down to earth, raw prose and takes you on her journey through heartbreak. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait for her next one.
A therapeutic, quick read. I recommend buying the paperback so you can immediately lend it to a friend going through a rough time. This is an introspective and empowering book. Can't wait for her next one!
This book was everything I expected and more. Once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. I never thought someone could feel what I felt and actually put it into words! I am HIGHLY anticipating the next book.
