Rented this book for my ECE 1A class. The book was in good condition, normal wear and tear, but no issue too big as to cause a problem reading it. We ended up not using the book very much for the class so I am glad I was able to rent it instead of buy it. When we did use it the content of the book was helpful, and well laid out. I liked the index it made it easier to find things like activity plan examples, and running record examples. All in all it was a good text book.
I purchased the used loose leaf version. I was not happy at first glance of my book in a random messy pile held together by a rubber band. Once I got it into a binder I was happier, there were very few ripped pages, just several bent. The book lined up perfectly with my Edec 1001 class at Ohio university. Overall, the book did its job.
This is a great book specially for students beginners like me. I purchase this book for my class at college and is a great way to start on the carreer and a good introduction to what's all about.
This textbook definitely exceeded my expectations. I needed this book for one of my courses and it is full of wonderful information about early childhood.
I got inspired by this book. Talking and caring for kids, a must read. You will understand the children and their families as you read this book.

It doesn't work!! I paid almost $90. for this ebook and the videos don't work!! I have no way of returning it or getting credit for it. It is a rental for $90. that SUCKS!
