This atlas is excellent for navigating and trip planning in Michigan. I especially like the vivid colors that show borders of forest and park areas. The map is easy on the eyes and yet is large enough to store in a back seat pocket or trunk. There are lots o interesting facts and information included in this atlas including locations for DNR offices, hunting, camping and recreational areas. There is a section that shows details about the unique natural features and the standard mileage distance charts. I really liked the layout and ease of use of this particular atlas. It is replacing a more than 20 year old copy that is now tattered and worn out.

The DeLorme Gazeteers are a MUST HAVE for navigating and exploring, and a helpful backup for when your GPS/phone nav doesn't work well. I keep one in each car; this one replaces a well-loved, tattered, older addition.
