my late husband died from Leukemic Burkett's Lymphoma non-CNS. He experienced numb-chin-syndrome but his doctors did not uderstand the implications of that particular symptom. It turned out to be a tiny spot of the cancer hiding in the clavical bone behind the sinus cavity, too near the brain for treatment to be effective. He was treated with 6 rounds of hyper-CVAD and intra-thecal C. Remission was archived but two months later lumps formed on the top of his head like a goose egg and they said there was nothing more to do. He lived for 31 days after that. I wish I could have this book so I could see what is being done and I could understand this disease better. He was a wonderful man and I miss him terribly.
