I use this product as an AP Human Teacher. My student's also buy a lot of review books on their own, so some of them have found this as well. There are enough questions that you can take some of them to supplement and not have to worry about some students having an advantage over others. I like this book because some of the terminology that it uses, like "fecund", is different than the Foulberg textbook, so it helps expose them to aspects of the AP. The difficultly level is actually higher than the 2006 released test and feedback has been that the multiple choice questions are changing their format a bit since the last released test, so this is VERY helpful.
I like the kindle version because I can click the question number and go directly to an explanation of the answer, then click the number again and go back to the list of questions. Very handy reviewing tool.
The questions were very test-like and got you ready for the final exam. THey may even have been a little harder which was very good when preparing. Also, when you were wrong the answers AND detailed explanations were in the back to aid you in learning why you were wrong and what the right answer was. Great review for the exam.
I am an AP Human Geo teacher. I have gotten most of my students to buy this book. The Kindle version is so inexpensive. Since my students started using this book they are doing much better on their tests. I think it has really upped their game. I too, think the questions are more difficult than the past tests I have seen, but they really do help the kids apply what they know to challenging multiple choice questions.
I highly recommend this book to anyone preparing for the AP Human Geography test. This book pretty much covers all the material that is included in the multiple choice section of the AP Human Geography test. This book really helped me see what I knew and what I needed to learn before the test.
Great book with a lot of examples of the way questions can be ask. This book is a great investment. Students will def. be well prepared for exam.
